My Lawnscaping Embossing Challenge Share

Hey everyone!
I just wanted to share with you my entry for this week's Lawnscaping Challenge! This week's prompt was embossing. I decided to use embossing powder for my card. Last week I saw an amazing card made by Chari Moss where she made an embossed midnight sky and I wanted to use her inspiration to make a card. You can find this card on the Lawn Fawn blog. I just love how my night time pumpkin patch card came out. It makes me so excited for fall and Halloween.
For this card I water coloured the background, using Tim Holtz Evergreen Bough and watercolour paper. I embossed the background with the Lawnfawn Starry Backdrop stamp and Platinum Gold embossing powder. I used back cardstock to die cut the grass using The Lawn Fawn Grassy Border Die. I wanted to enhance the night time scene. The super cute little cats are from the My Lucky Charm set. I added a bow to the little go cat with a bow from the Love N Breakfast stamp set. I also used the a Lawn Fawn stamp set So Thankful to get those cute pumpkins. I wanted it to look like the pumpkins were sitting in the cats laps, so I cut out their little feet and glued them to the front of the pumpkin. That is by far my favourite part of this card.
For the stamped images I used Copic Markers. The colours I used for the pumpkins were E59, E57, YR07, YR14, YR04, YR02. For the moon I used Y35 and added some wink of Stella to make it shine. For the cats I used W3 and W1, I added some flicks with the W3 to make it look like fur. The cat collars were coloured with Y35 and B29, as well as the bow. For the cats cheeks I used R20. Below are the stamps and dies used for this card.
I hope that you enjoyed this post featuring my cardfor the Lawnscaping Challenge. Here is the link if you are interested in participating thanks so much for stopping by my blog. Www.lawnscaping.blogspot.ca I hope you have an awesome day. Xo
