Waffle Flower November Challenge Guest Designer

Hello everyone!
I have some very exciting news to share with you. For the month of November I will be a challenge guest designer for Waffle Flower Crafts. I am so honoured to be a part of this months challenge. Today I will be sharing a card that I made using the stamp sets 'Bowtiful' and 'Willy and Friends'. The challenge this month is to create a paper craft using the 'masking' technique'. There is also a photo inspiration and a card sketch provided for inspiration. I used all three of these great inspirations to create my card. I have included pictures of the inspirations below.
For my card I wanted my masking technique to be front and centre. I masked that adorable little monkey behind that golden bow. I used the photo inspiration for my colours. I wanted my card to carry some of the beautiful fall hues. I was inspired by the photos hanging leaves to make my bows into a garland. I gold embossed the bows and the sentiment, which is also from the 'Bowtiful' stamp set. I also used the card sketch for inspiration, but just turned it horizontally.
I copic coloured the sweet little monkey and added some gold stickles to her little bow. For the copic colouring I used R20, E53, E55, and E57. I finished off the card by adding some sequins for a fun pop of sparkle.
I hope that some of you will pull out those Waffle Flower stamp sets and come play along in the challenge. I can't wait to see your cute projects! Thank you again to Waffle Flower Crafts for this wonderful opportunity to be apart of this months challenge with the other talented designers. It means so much to me. xo

My Style Stamps Design Team Projects for October

Hi everyone! I have alot of cute projects to share with you today. I have been busy creating a ton of cute projects for the My Style Stamps blog throughout October. Here are some of my latest projects.
This cute card that I created will be going up on the MSS blog later next week as one of my November design team projects, so you get a sneak peek here. I created this card using the My Style Stamps 'Coffee Lovers' and 'Furry Friends' stamp sets. I masked that little cutie behind the straw.... how cute is he?!
These sweet little envelopes were created using the My Style Stamps 'Sweet Wishes' stamp set. I thought it would be fun to use my We R Memory Keepers punch and make some envelopes. I decorated them using this new release stamp set. The love the little gingerbread, they are so sweet!
This is one of my favourite projects that I created this month for MSS. The new Starbucks fall cups that came out in the month of October were all the rage in the crafting community. There has been so much adorable inspiraton using the images shown on the cup. So I thought it would be fun to get out my collection of My Style Stamps sets and try my hand at making my coffe cup look just like the cute Starbucks cup. I used the MSS 'Furry Friends', 'Plan Fall & Winter', 'Build A Blossom' and the 'Coffee Lover's' sets. I created these adorable tags and I think they turned out so cute, they look pretty close to those fall cups. I included a picture for you of the Starbucks cups I'm talking about. Cute eh?
This sweet little squirrel was paper pieced using the My Style Stamps 'Furry Friends' set. I turned him into an adorable paper clip to use in my planner.
I created this card the first week of October. I wanted to find a fun way to use the 'Sweet Treats' popsicle set for a winter card. So I turned that snowcone into a "SNOW" cone! ;) I think he looks pretty cute!! Someone was ready for winter early! I hope you enjoyed my projects that I created for My Style Stamps for the month of October. I will be back later this month to share more projects with you! I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday! xo

Lawn Fawn So Thankful For You Lawnscaping Challenge

Goodmorning lovelies and happy Wednesday! Today I wanted to share with you my Card that I made for the Lawnscaping challenge this month. The challenge this time is "Texture'! I loved this challenge and had a ton of fun making my card. This challenge is sponsored by Ellen Hudson.
Here is my card that I created! I used a total of 9 different Lawn Fawn stamp sets. I absolutely love making scenes cards and mixing my sets. Four of the stamp sets are from the newest release. This is my first card using my new sets and I'm so happy with it. As soon as I saw those cute little mice I knew that sweet little mouse needed a little mouse house.
For the texture portion of my card I used embossed paper for the background and I also used distress water color paper to add some texture a watercolor looking background. I just got my very first water color set this week, and this is my first card using it. I had so much fun water colouring and I can see a ton more happening in my upcoming cards. I also used the Lawn Fawn grassy border die to create some layers of grass to also give the card some texture. I water colored one layer of the grass to give it a textured look.
My absolutely favorite part about this card is how I used the little gingerbread house from the set "Sweet Christmas" and made it into a little house for the mice. It doesn't look like a gingerbread house at all on this card. I love stretching my stamps and getting as many uses out of them as I can. Whenever I create a card that is how I challenge myself. For the stamped images I used Copic markers. The pumpkins were colored using E57, Y38 and YR04. I left the fence plain white and added some bows from the Baaah Humbug set (you ladies know I am obsessed with bows). I coloured the bows up using G40 and G24. The little mice are from the set Thankful Mice set. I coloured the girl mouse using C4. w3 and W1. For the boy mouse I used Y35, C3 and 100 for the hat and W3 and W1 for the body. I used R20 for the cheeks of both mice and added some cute dots with my white gel pen. The mug is from the set Holiday Party Animal, I added a little heart in the middle which was from the set Thankful Mice. The pie is also from the Holiday Party Animal set and u used C4, C2, E55 and E53 to colour it up. The little clouds are from the set Starry Backdrops. I used the heart from the Love N Breakfast to add some cute dimension to them. I coloured the heart in using Y35. Last but not least the adorable house from the set Sweet Christmas. For the door I used G40, G24, G17 and G19. I added some Y32 to the windows to make them look like the lights inside were on and to go with the feeling of the sun setting and night approaching. I thought this gave a nice cozy autumn feeling. The roof and house were coloured with E18, E15, E13, E57 and E55. I included pictures below of the Lawn Fawn sets that I used to make this card.
Here is one more picture of my card!
Thank you so much for stopping by my blog. These stamps can be purchased at www.lawnfawn.com. I hope that some of you will come and play along in the Lawnscaping challenge, it's a ton of fun! Xo

Lawn Fawn I Love Fall

Good morning and happy Sunday! I love Sunday's because it means sharing a Lawn Fawn card with you on my blog. I have had this cuteness ready to share for a week now and I have been so excited to show you what I came up with. I absolutely LOVE mixing my stamp sets together to come up with sweet little scenes. I am already in the fall mood and excited for all of the things that come with it: leaves, cool weather, pumpkin spice lattes, fall candles, pumpkin pie, time with family and all of the beautiful colours. Ekkk I can't wait! So this card was made with my fall excitement in mind.
For this card I mixed a total of eight Lawn Fawn stamp sets. I will share photos of them below so that you can see each of the sets. The sets I used for my card were 'My Lucky Charm' for that sweet cat. I just love him and his feet are so fun to use to stick out under objects. I recently used his feet under a pumpkin and it turned out so sweet, but I thought it would be adorable to have them sticking out below this cute little table. The pumpkins came from the set 'So Thankful'. The sweet little bed table try came from 'Love N Breakfast'. I wanted the cute flower on the tray to look like a sunflower. The larger sunflowers came from the set Our Friendship Grows. I used my copic marker to add some black spot detail in the middle to look like a real sunflower and I think it turned out great. From the set 'My Silly Valentine' I had to use that sweet pie. I just love how all of the Lawn Fawn stamps coordinate with each other so perfectly. That pie fit perfectly with the little cake stand from the 'Baked With Love' set. The fork and that adorable pumpkin pie which is one of my favorite images came from the set 'Happy Feast'. Last but not least from the 'Into The Woods' set I used the sentiment "I heart fall' which I embossed with gold.
I used some wink of Stella to add some sparkle and copic coloured these adorable images. The brown twine is from Doodlebug and is the 'bonbon' colour. I used my Lawn Fawn 'Large Stackable Rectangle' die cuts to cut out both the white cardstock layer and the yellow heart background. The cute yellow heart paper is from the Lawn Fawn Polka Mon Amie paper collection. Mix all of that together and you have Lawn Fawn Fall cuteness. :) Here are some pictures of the sets I used to make this card.
Thank you so much for stopping by my blog and leaving comments. It means the world to me. Hope you have a great Sunday xo

Simon Says Stamp Into Fall

Goodmorning lovelies!
I have been on a real fall cardmaking kick. I have two fall cards to share with you this weekend. Here's a sneak peek of the cuteness.i have one to share with you today and I will be back to share the other one with you tomorrow.
Today I am sharing my fall card that I made using the Simon Says Stamp set 'Abby's Spring Showers'. One of my all time favourite things to do with my stamps is stretch my imagination and use sets in completely unique and different ways. I absolutely love this set for spring but thought it would be so fun to use it for a fall card. Those little rain boots turned perfectly into ugg boots. And that little bear with his outstretched arms was perfect to hold a pumpkin. Those adorable pumpkins are from the Lawn Fawn stamp set "So Thankful" and the basket is from The Alley Way Stamps set "It's Fall About You". I will share the stamp set images below.
For my card I used the Lawn Fawn grassy border die and cut out 2 grass die cuts using some green polka dot paper. I thought that would be so sweet and using my new little blue (036) Zig Cleab Color Real Brush made a water coloured sky background. I used copic markers to colour the images and also did some paper piecing using the Lawn Fawn Sweater Weather paper collection. The cute gold buckles on the coat were made using gold stickles. I love how this fall cuteness came together. I can't wait to see more fall cards popping up in the crafty community. These stamps can be purchased and found at www.simonsaysstamp.com
Thank you so much for stopping by my blog! Xo
