You Melt My Heart Card Share

Goodmorning Lovlies! It's Sunday so you know I have a cute card to share with you! My hubby got me a die cutting machine for a wedding Anniversary gift!! Ekk married for five years already! I can't believe it!! Sweetest hubby ever to get me my die cutting machine!! I have been having so much fun with it. This is my first card using my new dies. I can already tell that I am going to be wanting alot more dies in the future. Be prepared now to be enabled! ;)
For my card this week I used the Lawn Fawn stamps sets Here's The Scoop, Treat Yourself (which is from their new release) and Science of Love. I just love those sweet little nerdie birds. Cuteness!!! I used American craft cardstock, my copic markers ( which I will have the colours listed below) and the yellow heart pattern paper is from the new Amy Tangerine Rise & Shine collection. I just love the bright fun colours in that collection. Of course I had to use dies on this card so I used the Lawn Fawn Large Stitched Rectangles (the two largest sizes) and the cordinating Say Cheese die for the polaroid frame! I just love that frame, it is so cute to have little critters peeking out.
Ohh Copics how I love thee!!! ;) ekkk!!! Here are the cute colours I picked for this card. I love taking these pictures displaying the copics I used. It is a nice way for me to look back on my blog and remember which colours I used. The sweet little blue bird was coloured using BG10 and BG45. For the pink bird I used RV02 and RV04. I used the darkest colour on each of their tummies and added some R20 to each of their cheeks with accenting dots using my white gel pen. Their beaks are YR02. The spoons are coloured up using my favourite grey combo C2 and C4. These two colours blend so amazing. The ice cream tub is coloured using Y11, Y13, RV02 and RV04. For the sundae I used G12, G02, RV02, RV04, E57 and E59. The milkshake is BG10, BG45, RV02 and RV04. The hearts I just used one colour each of the soft pastels, Y11, RV02, G12, and BG10. I added some sparkle with my wink of stella brush and also some Pretty Pink Posh sequins... I love those things!! So thats my card! I hope you enjoyed this post, thanks for stopping by my blog!! I had so much fun creating this card that I actually created two similar cards because I couldn't decide which one I liked better. So I will be back tomorrow with another cute card and post. Please follow for more inspiration and I hope you have a lovely day xo

  1. Aren't die cutting machines wonderful? I put off buying one for the longest time thinking I didn't need it. But once I bought it, well it's hard to not buy dies because they are so cute and so much fun. Can a girl really ever have too many dies?? (Or punches??) (Or paper?) LOL. Very cute card!
